I Timothy 1:9 says He hath saved us, and
called us with a Holy calling. If you're saved, your are called.
Everybody is not called to a pulpit ministry, but I believe that
whatever we do we must do as unto the Lord. Ladies you may be a mother
and housewife, but what an important job that is. Men you may be a
carpenter or a factory worker, but be faithful and diligent in whatever
position you're in.
I have three children and I watched down through the years the calling
that God has placed on their lives
1. Betty Porter – The Porter Family gospel singers and Childcare worker
for a children's home.
2. Charlotte Frye- Wife of a minister and working on her doctorate and a
wonderful therapist.
3. Jackie Midkiff- Pastor of High Praises Church in Maryville, TN and
Daycare owner
All their family is saved and I believe it is because they have answered
the call of God on their life.
Timothy 1:12 says that I am not ashamed for I know whom I have believed,
and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed
unto him.
God's Rewards Are Great Even in This Life!
